I spent an age ringing loads of places for insurance on the Rocket... finally settled on
Footman James ~ £220 fully comp, with 3k miles + the Mrs.... (excellent service, with a load of add-on bits like breakdown, road rage etc etc!)
A lot of brokers didn't even know what a MEV Rocket was!!!! shocking really!!!

I'm just approaching the end of 12 months since buying my MX5 donor to build an Exocet from, and have also pretty much completed the build. I went to Performance Direct for laid-up insurance last year and paid approximately £120, so thought that I would give them another go this year. Having been quoted £220 at Footman James to insure as an Exocet, I expected something similar from PD. After a little haggling I managed to get them down to £144 fully comp with 3K miles per year, in BA14 postcode, including legal protection - well happy with that!

There are several insurance coverage issues when you drive a vehicle that you do not own like a rental car, or your employer's company owned vehicle or even when you drive a vehicle owned by a friend or a relative. You should make sure that you have insurance coverage before you have an accident or any other type of loss and then you try to file a claim. cheap motor trade insurance
