Ok so based on the fact I don't have $58,000 to purchase a Campagna T-Rex trike, and I can just afford (When my money comes from HSBC) an RTR TR1KE my thinking is should I attempt to fabricate a roof section for it? I know its never going to be a T-Rex, but the advantage of having a roof gives you an easy way to fit a windscreen, because it defo needed, or something like this is going to be needed for wind deflection at 80 MPH on the M1 :-), initially I will use a helmet, but may in the future look at putting 2 bars up from the dashboard to the roll bar, creating an area to add a roof cover and windscreen.
Wondered if anyone else had thought about this? Or am I on my own?

Nope, didn´t think about it. When I dont want wind I just take my car... I think you must overthink it carfully because of the risk of losing your roof...

I suppose I really want a T-Rex, but know its never going to happen, but when I took a spin in the TR1KE it was fantastic and the road presence was amazing. I guess I do overthink too much :-)
Cheers for making my mind up
hahahahaha :-)

Weather protection is for p*ss**s... ;D (The word that is starred out is the plural of an alternative name for a cat but when you type it in, it is automatically replaced with "girl thingies" which to me makes it seem even ruder...!!!) If you fit a screen and roof you will need demisting and a wiper for starters. Take your waterproofs with you, it's a lot less hassle RTR
