Does anyone know the approx depth of the fuel tanks on the tR1ke?
I have a fuel gauge from the USA so I need to order a suitable fuel sender, but they have all sorts of sizes available, I know if requested you can have bigger fuel tanks, just wondered what size the standard tanks?
Cheers
Nick

Cheers for that, I have an american fuel gauge, so want to get my fuel sender ordered asap, have found a useful company in Hampshire who have boat bits, because of the shape of the tank a standard lever arm sender will foul on the sides, and VDO are very limited, this company can get me the right sender for my gauge for a bargain of about £70.
I see my money is almost in my account now, so not long to order stage, however I maybe looking at 3 months before mine is ready to collect due to demand :-)

Yeah I know its twin tanks, will be fitting locking caps in the top of both of mine maybe and a fuel sender in one, and maybe a sight gauge in the other as you can never fully rely on electronics.
I'm thinking there has to be a TR1KE meet up somewhere when we have them built, don't you think? Whether it be in the UK or Holland? (Holland might be a nice change)? Its nice to get to car shows, but its always good to meet up as a distinctive group too.
I think several TR1KEs cruising around will look great.
I am so excited now, I am just on with ordering all those trick looking parts :-)
I am thinking I might install an ABS floor instead of the aluminium one. I used ABS in my last Teardrop and it was light and easy to work with, and has a lovely anti scratch face too. Who knows, the world is becoming my oyster ;D

Racetrack Zandvoort ? Cool, the track looks great, I assume we won't be allowed to thrash round it? But even so, a good meeting point and just up the coast from Rotterdam too.

Once a month there is a track day... 20 minutes for 20 euro's! On some occasions you can drive whole day for €400,- or so per vehicle. My father in law is a kind of caretaker at the track. In the old days he could arrange something for me but those days are unfortunately over . He enjoing some kind of retirement now. He still does some work there, but not so much anymore... But I can keep you posted about the track days!
