MEV Exocet Turbo

It is with regret that it's time to put my MEV Exocet Turbo up for sale. The car was purchased as an unfinished build and I got it over the finish line.
The car was built between 2014/15 and passed its IVA test and was road registered in May 2016. Registered on an age related number plate.
Fresh MOT as of July 2023
The Exocet was built from a JDM import mk1 MX5 1.6 from 1989 (G Reg)
As you can imagine, a 250hp/700kg car is an absolute riot to drive and it will be missed.
It has been a great track car over the years, never missing a beat and happy to tour around Europe to various race tracks.
Ready to go and shouldn't need any thing
Running Gear:
15" MOMO Wheels with Yokohama AD08 track tyres.
During the build, the suspension was refurbished throughout with a full Polybush kit KYB dampers with eibach lowering springs. It rides incredibly well. The car was then given an aggressive/track suspension setup by the experts at Avia Autos.
1.8 Rear differential and drive shafts, with a Fuji limited slip centre section and slightly longer 3.9 ratio crown wheel and pinion (suits the extra power well, more on that later)
Stock MX5 gearbox with a 1.8 flywheel and clutch. Perfect for a car that only weighs 700kg.
1.6 brakes, Recent rear calliper replacement and new pads.
Engine:
Standard 1.6 engine, fitted with a Sturovo Turbo kit.
Controlled by a Motorsport Electronics ME221 ECU, mapped by Dai at Valley5s Made 250hp @ 7psi
AEM Wideband gauge and data fed to the ECU
Electronically controlled boost via a VW boost solenoid.
Volvo TD04-13t Turbo.
Yellow RX8 Yellow injectors (430cc)
Walbro 255LPH Fuel Pump
Colder NGK BKR7E Spark Plugs gapped for boost
TPS adapter for a BMW TPS sensor.
76mm (3") downpipe to a 63.5mm (2.5") exhaust system
IL Motorsport intake manifold support (frees up room around the oil filter)
Front Mount intercooler
Body/Interior:
Black/Orange fiberglass panels on a black powder coated chassis
Bucket seats with harnesses attached to a harness bar.
Custom centre console.
