Car is set. 12,5 cm of height all around...
Now waiting for some dry weather to test how good the tR1ke will handle.

When filling the engine with oil more than half way the level glass. Excessive oil is sweating out ad dripping on the floor. It looks like somewhere at the left side of the engine behind the generator cover oil is sweating. I bought a new gasket to put in. Emptying fuel tanks Removing bulk head removing oil from engine Removed left fuel tank Nice to see all is holding nice Removed all bolts holding the cover. But the cover is sticked to the engine. How to remove this sticky cover? Use some brutal force? Or is there some trick opening it?

With a bit of soft but persistent persuasion with my rubber hammer, the cover came of. The old gasket was rubbish. It took quite some time to remove it and clean the cover.

Hi Edwin, Your tR1ke looks very clean Did you have to take the bulkhead off to take the ignition cover off. Also the engine oil didn't need to be drained to change the gasket as its higher than the level if you jack the left side up a little, unless you were changing the oil anyway. Cheers Kevin

With bulkhead removed I have very easy access to engine and fuel tank.
The fuel tank must be removed to have access to generator cover. tR1ke has new oil and new filter. The tR1ke is not spared by the owner, so each winter some fresh oil in return seems fair.

Good to know your tR1ke will be ready for the warmer weather, have you tested the handling with the uprated front springs yet. Does it feel harder over bad road surfaces.
Cheers Kevin

No not yet. But they should be fine.
The stiffness of the new front springs are equal to the first springs, only these ones are lower/shorter.

Hi Kevin, Today did a small tour. New springs are fine. Cold and bit wet road surface is very slippery. Very nice for controlled power spinning.....

Hi Edwin, It's good to know the springs work well but go steady on the slippery roads, you don't want to bend your tR1ke . I have been for a few drives in mine this week and can confirm, it is very cold and slippery. Cheers Kevin

Today made some time for some minor tweaks to my tR1ke. From Dutch Marktplaats (ebay-like) I purchased an extra docking for my Garmin.
Also looked for a better mount for my camera. Old position was good from footage (viewing point) but terrible from vibration.
SO I made a fixing point at the drivers chair for the camera and a fixing point for the Garmin below my dashboard.
