Wednesday afternoon the frame and other parts are going to the powder coater.

Going on our way to the powder coater! My friend Richard helped me. (Thank you Richard) The powder coater person told me he would start right away. So Friday morning the frame and other parts will be ready.

Good progress! I myself am cleaning the R1 parts now. Very booring and dirty. Took me approx 14hrs to clean the motor... I am a bit jalous on you guys having finished the project soon...

Picking up de frame and parts from the powder coater. (sand blasted, primer coated, color coated and transparent final coat.) My dad helped out! Thank you dad.

After one afternoon and one saturday: Floor, engine, all suspensions and wheels are in The powder coat and finish is nice and thick.

Today spend all day for assembling my tR1ke: First fuel tanks, front exhaust, fuel lines and 1st stage fuel pump:

Today also did some more. Cooling lines, radiator, brake lines, pedals, master brake cylinders, brake fluid reservoir, gear lever, heat barrier, partly the parking brake. And I painted the steering house! Overview: Under the bonnet view: Pedal view:

Today the dashboard in, steering house, steering column, steering wheel. trottle cable, clutch cable. Need to organize the centre console to get all in.

Wiring: Needed to add wiring for: speedo healer, fuel level sensor, handbrake indicator and alarm indicator switch. Also replace starter engine cables by thinker ones. (10mm2 this time) Documented the whole plan for future modifications & diagnose.... Further I am waiting for parts to arrive. Kill switch, gear knob, 2,5 mm bowden cable for clutch and handbrake. So one or two weeks to completion!
