Hi, I am using a 1992 1.6 donor. Everything worked fine to begin with but now I can't seem to get the tachometer and fuel gauge to work. All the pins are clean and nothing appears to have blown. I have re done to the three earths under the cluster gauge and the all read about 0.8 ohms. I have tested to two cluster gauges.
The car runs and drives well and has been for a while. It does runs little rough but I think that's cause the idle is all over the place.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

The temperature and oil pressure gauges share the same power and ground, if they are working you can concentrate on checking the single (yellow) wire to the fuel tank sender and the (black/white) wire to the ignition coils or the (yellow/blue) wire if you have a separate igniter.

The wiring to the ignition coils for the tacho can be dodgy, well documented on mx5 forums and a quick google will show you where to head
