Hi folks, I've been looking at the build manual and chatting to several other owners but can't find the more up to date specs on what the wheel alignment should really be. The standard mx5 I'm reliably told is pretty useless for our cars.
Has anyone got details of alignment that works well on road? Track settings are probably a bit too aggressive for normal use.
Camber Toe Castor etc
Cheers, we're just waiting to be allowed to make an unnecessary journey to get this done somewhere and we'd like to be ready.

I'm happy running Flyin' Miata's recommended settings for a NA/NB Miata on my Exocet. To be honest, these figures work better when I occasionally run the standard Miata wheels / tires (stock width, stock offset), with some sacrifice in steering feel (feedback) when I switch to 205 wide tires on my zero offset wheels. Not sure that I can improve steering feel with any changes to front alignment specs, as I have not played around much with that variable to date.
From the Tech Info section of their webpage:
Front Caster: 5.0 degrees Camber: 1.0 degrees negative Toe-in: 1/16", 0.15° or 9 arcminutes total (1/32", 0.075° or 4.5 minutes per side)
Rear Camber: 1.5 degrees negative Toe-in: 1/16", 0.15° or 9 arcminutes total (1/32", 0.075° or 4.5 minutes per side)

Probably have to do it again soon as the bushes will soon settle in.

I would hope your bushes are not going to settle in enough to change the settings!

I run the stock Miata settings for street and have been pleased with it. Are you planning on having different tires for street vs track? Track settings will wear the tires excessively fast if you're enjoying it around town.

Ours will stay on road settings but we may do an odd track day but just keep the same settings for all the time we'll ever be on a track
