Hi all,
Has anyone had experience changing from 1.6 to 1.8 or even larger in the UK?
I have put in a V6 and want to make sure I'm fully legal and above board. Insurance are fine with me telling them but the DVLA want the following which I don't have;
Change of engine number or cylinder capacity (cc)
You need to provide either:
a receipt for the replacement engine
written evidence from the manufacturer
an inspection report provided for insurance purposes
written confirmation on headed paper from a garage (if the change took place before you bought the vehicle)
Any suggestions? Am I all ok as long as my insurance is all correct?
