Hi All,
I hope you are all well and getting time to enjoy your projects.
I've added larger wheels to my car and am in need of help finding a good way of covering them up. I used to use the standard wheels so the original mudguards were perfect. I am now running 275/40/17 on the rear and 255/40/17 on the front.
My question is, does anyone know how best to cover these up? There are a few people online that are selling mudguards but not of this size.
Has anyone experienced putting larger wheels on an exocet?
Its the last thing stopping me from taking her out so am getting a little desperate.
Cheers

I have two suggestions Move to New Zealand and run without mudguards. You just need to join a hot rod club and do two 'sanctioned events' per year oh and "promise to drive with due care and consideration for other road users" Unfortunately we are not letting anyone in at the moment! The second option only works if the existing ones are of a suitable radius, if so I can tell you how to increase the width neatly which is what I did on my Rocket. Would that work?

Shame your closed at them moment. Sounds like great fun and it does look mean without the guards.
As is though, I would be glad to hear how to make my existing ones fit. I have sliced the end off to extend them but as someone that has never used fibreglass before I am a little scared of wrecking them.
Any tips greatly recieved.
