Due to upgrading to a Billet flywheel i am selling my Ford Zetec 1.8ltr Lightened and balanced flywheel.
It was originally fitted to my 2.0ltr Zetec with IB5 gearbox but will also fit 1.6 and 1.8 engines. If you have a 2.0ltr engine and are planning on running an IB5 gearbox you will need to swap out the flywheel for the 1.8ltr flywheel anyway so makes sense to fit a lightened and balanced one!
The flywheel weighs 7kg which is 1.5 kg lighter than a standard flywheel. To fit this requires a slight modification to the cam sensor. All it needs is about 1mm shaved off the cam sensor bolt bracket to allow the camshaft sensor to fit 1mm closer to the flywheel due to the back having been skimmed.
I have pictures available showing a standard zetec flywheel and the skimmed and balanced one. I can email these to anyone who wants them.
