Hi Folks, Can you provide some advise on the fuel tank setup below. Can I leave the "T" disconnected as shown or do I have to put a hose on? If so where to run the hose? Rear lights all work. Single fog light ont he right and single reversing light on the left. Any comments re IVA? I did not build the car. I am getting it ready for IVA. Has a ME221 ECU so now runs. Removed a stereo. Now tidying, trimming, tracing wires ! Thanks in advance. Happy New Year. Mick

Yes, it has sensors front and back.. cant decide whether to get them working or not. Might just rip them out while cleaning up the wiring. Hoping to take it to a track day at snetterton Jan or Feb if weather allows. It needs a thrashing before a MOT check over then the mighty IVA

In answer to your Qs: 1. The Build Guide notes: If you do [remove charcoal canister] then you can leave the pipe open after the check valve. 2. I think the brakes & indicators need to be a set distance apart and I think the reflectors are too far inboard on the chassis - all covered in the IVA Guide. Good luck

Good luck Good point Miket, the outer edge of the rear reflectors will need to be a max of 400 mm from the edge of the outside edge of the wheel arch, you may just be OK. There does need to be 100 mm between the illuminating areas of the fog and stop light, you may just be able to change the lamps over so that the indicator is in the middle.

Has anyone taken the vent bit out of the tank to see what's inside? I have a new tank and forgot about the vent pipe and my fuel cap isn't vented either. I'm presuming that it needs a vent somewhere so maybe I need to have a small pipe welded on to connect the one way valve to.

I will look at this over weekend.

See Below. Edge to edge I will have only 85 mm between the standard rear light, if I move it to the outside, the fog light. Definite failure? I could get another fog light and mount it elsewhere. Would i get away with a square one and mount it the correct distance away? Also the distance from the edge of the reflector to the outside edge of the wheel arch is marginal but I can adjust the position of the arches to make it spot on 400 mm.

you can remove those 2 and fit a fog on the centre line of the car, that will do it.
