Hi all, I don't have any paperwork with my headlights (probably lost) and cant match the build guide diagram to the colours I see. Is there a link anywhere or anyone can tell me whats what coming out of the MEV standard headlights? OR am I just being a doofus and have missed something. Speaking of being a doofus, guess who cant now locate his hazard, fog and horn switches/connections.. I did the loom so long ago I guess they have been taped into the unused wiring.. Plus side is should now be aiming for IVA early next year.. as soon as I find the fog switch! UPDATE : Thanks for help, managed to suss it but had to use a billet switch to separate the main and dipped beams as no matter how wired they both lit up together. Problem now is I still cannot for the life of me find either my hazard or fog switch connections.. If anyone can give me a hint or clue that would be super fantastic, I cant remember the loom well as I did it about 2 years ago. My donor had hazard switch in center of dash and fog to right of steering wheel, if you look you can see my wiring, it aint pretty!

Hi David, in the end I just swapped all three wires that came out of my head lights on to each of the Mazda wires, until i got the desired effect of dipped\main\full beam. The wiring diagrams certainly did not help me for the type of head light supplied to me by MEV which are different to yours.

Most lights use H4 bulbs, wire colours vary from one manufacturer to another, best to ignore colours and wire according to the bulb as shown. The diagram below is also shown in the build guide and will therefore apply to all lights using H4 bulbs.
