Hello,
Time has come to realise the build i started slowly in early 2016 has only gotten slower since.
Please see my Manchester build thread although it's not quite up to date as photobucket issues.
It's basically a mk2 1.8 donor the front and rear subfames stripped, coated and fully poly bushed. PPF fully stripped and powder coated. Engine , gearbox, suspension, brakes, fuel tank and diff fitted and serviced. Electrics done and working, car starts, steers and stops.
All lights work but not permanently fitted yet.
The space frame chassis is number 82 and I had it powder coated battleship grey the shell is green with yellow Le Man style lipstick. This was the first green shell MEV made.
Comes with steel wheels on new Michelin tyres(from a mini one) cobra classic bucket seats x 2. But one original mx5 seats with headrest is included for IVA.
Inc paperwork from MEV and v5 from donor with vin cut from the donor shell so should qualify for an age related plate (T reg).
I have conservatively just shy of £9.5k (not including my time just actual £) in the project but decision has been made to simplify my life. So I've sold my oldish Porsche 911 and bought a new mx5 so don't really need another two seat convertible.
Pics can follow as soon as it stops raining. For someone in the market for a replicar get yourself a bargain.
To someone on here who is already a MEV forum user I will do a special price. An advert will be going in Complete Kit Car for offers around £6k .
Thanks for the replicar forum for its help along the way.
Will be sad to see it go.

Thanks for the heads up, I've just put an advert in Complete Kit Car online and for the next two published months.
Fingers crossed finds a good home.
