Hi all, just wondered what wheels and tyres people are running? I'm considering buying some et0 wheels as that's almost as cheap as a set of spacers and a refurb of the wheels i have, but I'm not sure what size I can get away with.
My thoughts are to run some 16x6 on the front, with the older style arches and 195/45/16 tyres, then use the G Type arches on the back with 16x8 and 225/40/16 tyres.
Has anyone run similar sizes, and know if I'm likely to run into any issues?
Thanks Kev

If you are planning on doing lots of track days I would look at the cost of tyres in the size you are looking at and also the weight of the wheels.
My donor had light Italian 15” ‘Radius’ wheels, so I’ll keeping them. As I understand it 195/50/R15 is a very common size tyre for track days.

I think the issue for me is the 195 tyres will be too narrow under the G Type arches. Buying the kits and trying it is an expensive way to find out they don't work!

I’m running 195’s on G-Type arches. I had/have the same concern so I mounted the arches using sliders, by bonding pipe to the arches that the stays slide into. That way I can get the adjustment just so, or go wider at a later date without having to worry about the arches being fixed in place. I can also completely remove the arches with no hassle. See Morgan’s Exocet Build Thread for more details / pictures.
