I hope you all had a great year. I was looking back today as Julie was preparing the end of year news letter and felt it would be good to see everyones veiws of their MEV highlights of the year. So if it was your first drive or your first engine start as your car comes to life or a great day out at a show, please tell us. Mine was the launch of Exocet, I was delighted with the response and subsequent sales. Have a great festive period everyone and I look forward to seeing you all next year at a show or gathering. Kindest regards and seasons greetings, Stiggy Attachments:

Hi Stuart
A couple of MEV highlights for me. The space hopper race at Newark, Will was great and miss Mattsmev got a wet bum in the water jump. Also the second CKC track day at Llandow, what a great day, I have never driven so fast and been overtaken so much. there were some serious cars there but I was certain I got everything I could out of my machine.
Already looking forward to next year.
Blessings at Christmas to you all
Mattsmev (and Mrs and Miss Mattsmev)

My high-light has been the whole process so far with the Rocket - can't put it down to an actual day/time. From finding the kit, ordering, collection, I am loving building the car and investigating parts/modifications etc. I am so glad I did not buy another 'off the shelf' sports car and decided to build my own.

For me it was the first drive of my sonic
sounds poor, but it most certainly lived up to my expectations
was planning on a few upgrades to engine but decided they can wait after my first drive!

With so many great moments and memories throughout 2010 its hard to choose, but for me it’s got to be the weekend of the 1st AMM at Curborough, not only was it fantastic to see so many MEV’s in one place but it was good to finally put faces and names to cars from the Forum. With so many of the photos of the day being published already, including the 2 page spread in CKC magazine its been quite difficult to find anything new to report, however, I offer this little photo. I’ll explain - Although the event was ‘strictly none competitive’ it was the intention of the organisers to offer a number of trophies to individuals of whom displayed exceptional talents throughout the day. Unfortunately with all the excitement it was somewhat forgotten about until almost to late and many owners had departed. (will try and do better next year) The awards were as follows:- Sue (Mrs mattsmev) was awarded first prize for being the 'first to spin' on the day, Joy (Miss mattsmev) won 'most terrified look on face' on her return to the paddock after riding shotgun with dad Matt, Stuart (stiggymills) won 'most dramatic antics' of the day for loosing the Exocets bonnet and finally Julie was awarded the money box trophy for her efforts in ensuring that MEV goes forward on a sound financial bases while we all play. ;D Role on next year when the 2nd AMM will be even bigger and better. ;D nigel Attachments:
