Not sure if i ever did one of these threads way back when i first found the place but guess it's worth a hello now i've finally got myself a rocket.
It's a 2011 built classic, crafted by Ade (MevST) originally, 2.0L with powerworks SC and a 6 speed box. It's pretty feckin mental.
Had myself a couple of issues since i picked the car up and huge thanks to Ade in helping pin them down. Car now goes like it should with just shy of 300hp on tap.
Myself, i just moved to Dunlop for a bit of space n clean air. Co-own a website/group called Tartan Tarmac, a few of you have been to our breakfast meets already and run a vehicle restoration business the majority of the time.
Have lots planned for the car this year, track days, highland tours, shows, teaching the missus to drive quickly. Should be good fun.
First upgrade for the car is a rear wing to try and get a little more grip back there. Have picked up a spoiler locally and in the process of mocking up some feet/supports. If there happens to be a cad drawing or rough measurements of the sizes other folk are using on their rocket, that would be handy to have.
Plan to get as much exposure as possible with the car this year so expect to see it out and about if you're local.
Cheers, Olie

I'm good mates with Chris (he bought this shortly after I got my Exo) and I've been to the breakfast meet last year, so look forward to seeing you about - and hopefully on track! Chris never managed to get it on KH, so would be good to see what it can do
Did you get the "other" wheels?
Made a massive differnce to me getting rid of the street tyres and moving to semi's 👍

Yeah, got the 888s to try out soon. The t1rs are ok in the bone dry but nothing special. Was concerned about the 888s in the wet but not sure they'd be much worse than the t1rs. My mate's doing the rev limits night next Wed in his 620r, tempted to go play but it's £150 as they keep numbers to 25. It'll definitely see the track though, possibly a hill climb or 2. Kames would be a hoot.

Awesome compomotives cx4s I think
The 888s will deal with water better than you think (for all the time you'll prob get caught out in it)....but the difference in the dry will be like night/day
Done a couple of rev limits nights last year and done really well with my 240hp.....that Rocket should lap somewhere in the 50-55s region. Apart from the r500 Caterhams and some very well peddled Exige Cup v6s....you should easily deal with pretty much everything else.
