Hi everyone, the time has come to put my Exocet Turbo up for sale.
The kit was purchased in July 2012 and was completed, IVA'd and registered in September 2014.
As far as work and the build goes, here is a link to my Build thread.

Some brief details of the car are as follows.
Exocet Turbo registered 01/09/2014. M.O.T will be due 01/09/2017.
Total weight 680KG.
1.6 16V engine. Approx 160BHP
Full engine strip down,(bores honed, de-coked valves and all 16 valves re-seated, new valve stem oil seals, full engine gasket set, front and rear crank oil seals, water pump and belts, spark plugs and all filters).
1648 miles covered in 2 years since the rebuild (donor vehicle was 91595 miles).
TD04 Turbo (Subaru WRX), custom manifold and down pipe (catalyst still fitted but not needed due to age of engine).
Civic radiator and RS Turbo intercooler, (small intercooler fitted due to IVA test as you could not protrude from the bodywork).
Upgraded to a 1.8 clutch and flywheel with new clutch kit and clutch slave cylinder to handle the extra power from the turbo.
5 speed Gearbox, input and output shaft oil seals replaced, cleaned, painted and new fluids.
Torsen LSD with new output shaft seals and new correct oil. Driveshafts stripped, re-greased and new boots.
OZ Superleggera 15 x 7J wheels.
32mm spacers all round, 4 wheel laser alignment with custom set-up.
Manual steering rack (not a de-powered rack).
Full powder coated frame (done after dry build then stripped down for coating and final rebuild).
All suspension components shot blasted, dipped and powder coated.
Donor parts fully stripped (including hubs/bearings), cleaned, painted and rebuilt.
4 new coil springs fitted to refurbished Koni damper adjustable sports shocks, new pads, new n/s and o/s front calipers, Full poly bush kit.
Wiring loom stripped, all non used wiring removed to fuse box, wiring rerouted and re-loomed.
Dominator headlights, compact rear light units, L.E.D indicators (hazard relay modified to correct flash rate), MINI John Cooper Works side repeaters and panels.
Gauge pod with Boost Pressure, Fuel Pressure and Volt meter.
Interior panels faux leather covered and rubber studded flooring.
Momo small steering wheel and custom gear knob and gaitors.
Lightweight seats.
Battery box and fire extinguisher in rear behind the seats.
Original fuel tank with centre mount filler.
As you can see a lot of time and effort has gone into completing this build. For the power to weight it is a very capable car which is not only quick but being based on the mx5 chassis handles amazingly. With the fuel/timing set-up fitted and low 5 PSI boost level all of the power produced is usable all of the time which is important. However if you wanted to, by upgrading the exhaust system to larger bore and removing the catalyst, fitting a larger front mounted intercooler, removing the air flow meter and installing an air temp sensor with corresponding Megasquirt/Link aftermarket management etc, this engine will easily and reliably see 220-240BHP as the engine was originally designed for the Turbo 323 4x4.
Pricing kit cars is difficult as people have varying expectations. You will never get your money back or make money but my enjoyment comes from building them. Its just time to let someone else enjoy using it like I have.
Please arrange a viewing if your interested and ill be more than happy to show you the car and answer any questions you may have. I'm only selling due to lack of use now and I'm currently building a Ninja ZX9-r powered Fiat 126p. I don't need to sell the car so I'm not going to entertain silly offers but will consider sensible offers. No swaps, cash only.
I'd like to sell the car to a fellow member on here rather than stick it on Ebay and deal with people who don't even know these cars.
I'm open to offers around £6750.
If your interested please contact me via phone on 07825 818919 or via PM on here. My name is Craig.
Thanks for reading.
Here are some current pictures taken today, however if you want I have probably 1000's of the build which can be seen in the link given above.
