Hello, This is a strange one but do people make copies of the Gaz shocks? The reason I ask is that I bought some last year brand new for my build and have noticed that they don't look as shiney and have a slightly different sticker on them. It's just me worrying no doubt but thought it would check what others thought. What I have   Picture of the shocks from John and Luke's build.  |

It could be that the ones I have seen are not alloy so that will explain the lack of shine, has any one else got pics of there setup?

Mine: Yep, me and your brother are going to compare notes tmw  Gaz gold pro Shocks ready to go on once platforns set and nuts nipped up (i'm using mk2 mounts and shocks);   Possuible they have dulled off as they are sat? Aluminium will do that. |

What spring rates are you guys running on these? 350/250? Do you know what the mx150 racers are using?

Right I have today emailed GAZ and they have advised they are genuine, now that's decided I can get them fitted.
the next question is how to fit? am I right in thinking that my first picture is the correct layout for the washers/topmount
Gaz Shock with both collars wound down
Spring
Collar on top of spring
Rubber bump stop
Large Washer
Original Top Mount
Small Washer
Nyloc Nut

yes you are right the spring rate are 350 / 250

Sorry to bring up and old thread - is the order in your description and in the photo correct?
I'm just getting ready to put my gaz shocks together and want to make sure its right.
