Is the flyscreen included in the kit or is it a cost option? (If so, how much?)
Much better grill shape.
I've looked and looked and I just cant see the revised bonnet lines - where have they changed?

Hi, just me being keen on minor detail. I noticed the bottom edge of the air scoop was flat either side. I have now rounded it to flow with the lines on the nose cone. You need to see it in the flesk (grp) but it looks very smooth and natural now. I played with the fly screen, it's just a piece of perspex. I tried non, that was O.K, I tried 2 small ones, they were O.K, I then wrapped a full one around, think I prefer that one. The cut-out in the middle flows again, this time with the roll bar. Regards Stiggy

Also, is the newer nose cone (new grill shape) slightly shorter, or that an optical illusuion?

Another question - have you weighed the Exocet and if so, what was it?

Hi, the nose is the same length but now it looks balanced from all angles. The fly screen will be a small extra option but I guess most will make there own to the height and shape to suit them once it's road legal. My Exocet weighs in at 650kgs dead on, that could be reduced with lighter wheels, seats, brakes etc but I as is, brill.

I've read on the website that the optional lighting kit includes projector style hi/lo beam headlamps (i.e. on the atomic), how come you haven't fitted those on the exocet yet? I feel those change the styling a lot in the way of aggressive looks. Also, I was wondering what happens to the airbag system when it is transferred from a miata into the exocet? Is it still active or is the entire system supposed to (or recommended) to be deactivated?

We have not used a car with air bags as they are not allowed for IVA. The lights are either the 90mm ones that I used or the projector ones. Same price, customer choice.

Delighted to see that the new production version of the MEV Exocet has been recognised as important enough to grace the front page of a show guide. Indeed it is being used to promote the Exeter show. Attachments:
