Sorry but will not be resuming production now, 6 months after we withdrew Mevster we have had only 2 inquiries. I did make the announcement below back in July, sorry if everyone did not get to see it but we did take it off our website too. I don't do blindsiding but I completely understand your frustration, I feel the same way too. I spent months getting it right, many thousands of pounds and very little in return, very few seem to have spotted what I think is a great car. I am very grateful to those that did get a kit and will always be delighted to see them out at shows. Due to extremely high demands for Replicar/Exocet/XS we are not intending to produce any Mevsters until mid next year. The chassis need to be made in batches of 20 and demand is surprisingly not as high as anticipated for Mevster. Incidentally Mevster is my favourite MEV but is not the best seller. Fortunately I have one chassis left. I would suggest an early deposit is placed to avoid disappointment. So sorry but we have to look at this from a strict business viewpoint and we cannot produce Mevsters in smaller batches therefore we have no fixed date when we expect to resume production. Demand will dictate. Sincere apologise to anyone looking at Mevster building. Read more: mevowners.proboards.com/thread/5541/new-member#ixzz3LRJjK5XE

OK, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Can guarantee that the Mevster will be produced by mid next summer?
It's still me car of choice as I have spent many dollars (pounds to you) getting the donor ready.
I am also sorry to say that I did not receive notice that you were going to stop production.
I did receive notice about the price increase on the exocet.

Didn't Stuart say he had one chassis left? Why not get that one?

I would if it were availabe. You see Stuart copied and pasted what he posted in July. It's not current.
I sent an email to the dealer in Atlanta last week to give them my deposit and never heard back from them

Stuart,
I have both the time and money to invest in the mevster. If you want to do business, I need some commitment from you, so let me know where you stand.
Will you build additional mevsters next summer?
if not, will you put a windshield on the exocet?
If not, my money can be well spent elsewhere.

Morning :-)
On the subject of the end of the Mevster, I know the kit ie moulds etc were on ebay as a going concern. I wonder Stuart, did they sell?. The reason I ask is I am querying the availability of body panels etc
Kind regards,
Hec

Hi, I am part of the college that Stuart referred to in the thread. We are getting ready to start producing Mevster kits and hope to be up and running in a few months. In the medium term we want to be manufacturing both the panels and frames in-house, but to begin with we shall be out-sourcing the production of the initial batch. Give me a shout if there is anything you specifically need and maybe we can sort something out.
