I'm about ready to test fit the engine. I'm pleased with the look of it so far, and with the Honda power it should go as well as it looks.

I attempted to dry fit the engine to take measurements for custom driveshafts and gear selector cable etc but decided it will be easier when I get a mate round to help guid the engine in as I don't want to damage any powder coating.
I am now working on the brake bias with the willwood pedals as I want to get them fitted. I have read the various build threads and I understand the concept of brake bias but people seem to be using different bias settings. I've seen 1.2:1 (jacksdad) through to 3:1 front to rear. I know Jacksdads build isn't complete yet so I was hoping someone who has completed their build and has used the brakes could offer some advise on the best setting for brake bias please?
Thanks in Advance.

I've fitted the engine. It literally took 30 minutes on my own. I was very surprised how easily it went in. I've almost done the cooling and am now on with the wiring. Many Thanks to Deano for advising and lending me a genuine Honda wiring diagram. I think I've figured it out so I'll post pics of the wiring as I'm doing it.

Well after a few days of trying to figure out the wiring I'm lost so decided to do something else. Fitted my floor with M4 rivnuts and bolted it on. Finally got my drivers seat, I had wider ones made in GRP so I fitted that (still waiting for the second seat to be made). It doesn't look that wide but it's right on the limit of what is possible to fit in the rocket. In fact it's probably a liitle too wide for the rocket so I will have to custom make my center tunnel. I used the crush tube idea as used by other builders. I used some steel bar with M12 OD and M8 ID. I then drilled the M8 hole all the way through and then widened the top of the hole with a 12mm drill bit. Bolted in place with an M8 bolt, works a treat.

I've also fitted the front floor and radiator area side panels, so here is the car at the moment.

After a long time trying to find wheel and tyres that I like and that fit the hubs (it's quite a limited range) I chose these Momo Hyperstar 16 inch alloys. with Yokohama tyres Only one problem, the courier managed to drop one of the wheel damaging it and my 4 wheels were the last 4 in the UK. So momo have flown one over for me, which will be with me by Monday. (damaged wheel below)
