Hi interested to know the various methods others have used to attach there plastic side panels to the frame?
I'm not using the standard panels as I have alternative panels that are only 2.3 mm thick.
Was thinking of 5mm rivenuts? Any advice would be appreciated.
Also what spacing between fixings have people used?

I used M5 rivnuts with a 6 inch pitch between them.
John where did you get the mesh that you bonded onto the instrument binacle to give it the shape before you glass fibred and filled it? Can you remember what thickness it was?

Can you remember what thickness it was? Scoot Mesh from Halfords its standard aluminum expanded mesh used for repairing body work. Re the side panels. I think I will use M5 rivenuts from memory its 15mm box section on the uprights so I'm guessing a 9mm hole for the rivenuts. 150mm spacing sounds good. Thanks
