With a view to keeping the price down and putting fuel in the Beasty Slugshot machine, Premier Inn would be great accommodation, but wherever Kevin wants to stop is where I will need to be ?

Hi Andy
I am going to setup and Scotland thread in 2 days time with details of trip, attendees so far who have said there are in and also some accommodation links which you can also add to. Will try to keep the first post updated with all details as we go along adding details.

Unfortunately the Premier Inns are not sited near the places the trip may visit.
Even the ones that are available are expensive due to the locations and time of year. You would be looking at about £150 for 2 nights if there are rooms available.
B&B's or camp sites may be the best option but then there is the issue with parking the cars and security.
It's a fair bit away yet so I'm sure a solution will arise.

Well I for one canny afford expensive accommodation once we have travelled up to Scootland, the fuel alone will start to make the trip expensive.... If I'm coming along then no room for a tent, so I might just not come, then at least Kevin will have storage room for his tent etc.
Let's see what arises, but the cheaper the better for me :-)
