I will start by saying the problems didn't stop all weekend! First the tubes of epoxy they sent only have an actual half tube of epoxy in them. The 2 part epoxy has a cartridge inside the cartridge that takes up a significant amount of room. Not knowing that... I broke the chalking gun trying to squeeze the tube thinking it was only half way empty. That was just one of the many trips to Home Depot. After following the instructions I found the cartridge to be good for only 2 anchors. There are 10! So my fiancé and I did some reading online on different epoxy and hit up homedepot yet again and raided the place! At $20 a pop it added up. So we measured the depth we wanted the anchors set at covered the bolts with tape and filled holes with epoxy and drove the anchors home. Let them set for 24 hours. Removed the bolts. Set up lift and leveled it. Torqued bolts to the recommended 90ft lbs And finally! Success!
Garage is a mess but it's all done and setup! Beer o'clock and clean up a bit. Tomorrow we shall start the divorce process after 24yrs. This has been a great journey so far. Not even half way done. And to show off the amazing job prismatic and exomotive are doing with powder coating these chassis here is "FLexocet" chassis #90... Think his daughters approve! Can't wait to get mine home.

Started this evening by removing the exhaust I made and everything else off the bottom of the car... Yup it's a Ferrari 599 muffler, modified to work on my miata. Even the exhaust valve worked... I wired a microswitch to the throttle pulley to open the solenoid only at wide open throttle therefore opening the exhaust valve by bypassing the vacuum in the vacuum canister and making it louder. Worked perfect. Super quiet while cruising. But the main event tonight...... On to cleaning and sorting out disposal of the body.

Curious what wheels are on your donor and their specs. They look "zero offset'ish" ....

I guess saturday came faster than expected. Turns out my driveway has a significant slope. So I had to come up with a solution to help me bring the car up and down if something catastrophic were to happen. Came up with a hex drive worm gear winch and used on the torque setting of my DeWalt 12V drill. Worked great... End result? I got the "miata-skate" down the driveway and on to the road Next was the body on 4 small harbor freight wheel dollies Of course now the "miata-skate" can go back home and meet its new body Greatful to have a great friend in "FLexocet" aka Dave and also have my soon to be wife's support. She's estatic! If she's faking it then I have to start worrying about other things too! Some more random pictures of the body before its picked up by the junkyard tomorrow Thanks for visiting, it's been an adventure. Half way point now.

Next was the body on 4 small harbor freight wheel dollies Love the trail it left behind. Mine did the same thing (likely brake fluid, or gas). My neighbors loved me!

Coolant from the "miata-skate" and gas from the body. I had a couple of nosey ass neighbors. The biggest one "Jackass" (literally what everyone in the neighborhood calls him) did 2 drive bys. Also had my neighbor directly in front of my house come into the garage and he is the first official person I had to answer the "what is it?" Question.

Most of my neighbors came by to witness the 'disembowelment' when I used the Sawzall to section my body into 5 big pieces to make for easier trailer loading / disposal. Turned into a cul de sac cookout ... !!! Apparently, cutting up a car is not an everyday occurrence.

Brian I see you are also located in FL. I’m looking for a local Exocet frame at a decent price. Do you happen to know anyone who’s looking to clear up some garage space? Sorry would not let me message you directly.
