So on loss of power it returns to 'off' ? Yes mate. Loss of power drops the latch... easy fix huh?

Just stumbled across this topic in one of the kit car mags. The suggestion was as per the IVA manual, with the solutions based on box of tricks available from a couple of vendors. Can anyone who has had their IVA, direct or via the RTR service confirm that the following specific post from the above link is indeed true: Fog light requirementsNaturally, I'd really rather keep the wiring as simple, spending money and time other bits of the build. Cheers, Huggy.

Mine went through IVA in May without the power drop relay.

keep it simple guys. If you have a British spec donor then the fog light wiring is correct. If you have to wire one up on an import make sure it comes on with dip or main beam and not sides. No latching complications required or buzzers for IVA.

If you are using a mk1 donor, use the headlight motor power for your fog supply - it only powers up when the headlights are on.
