All good, feels well planted, good driver position but production chassis' will be slightly different to accommodate taller drivers. It does feel very roomy in the drivers seat with lots of width for elbows and feet. Seats are comfy but I did not like the headrest shape. Intatrim are redesigning the headrests to my spec which is a great service. Grip was surprising on those cheap tyres too. No rattles or squeaks, and I am pleased to say that the engine has quietened down now as we used flushing oil, it was very tappety. Overall it does feel like a very expensive car, yours for ONLY £5K though! I do like the sign that accidentally appeared in the background within the daisy shot.

That car looks fantastic, Stuart - I'm very interested in this. Just a couple of questions; Since you're saving the weight of the heavy metal body, the doors and windscreen, what is the actual kerbside weight of the car? The wheels look exactly right in the body; did you have to fit shortened springs?

Thank you T, it weighs just over 600 kgs and sits at the right height on standard MX5 springs and shocks. The ride is very slightly stiffer due to the MX5 being 50% heavier.

Excellent, thanks Stuart.
So even with the standard engine it will really shift! And we can still use the standard springs to start with and maybe upgrade later if we feel the need...
This looks better and better.

Hi Lee, the Exocet has more leg room than Replicar, the Replicar has slightly more room than an MX5, hope that helps.

Thanks Stuart, I can almost drive an mx5 so with a thin shell seat in the replicar I should be okay.
