I was wondering what the best height to set up the front suspension to would be. I was wondering if it's best to start with the lower a-arm parallel to the deck and work from their or set it a bit higher to give a better angle of attack on uphill twisting corners. The trike should be delivered tomorrow and it's got the heavier set springs from RTR. Any suggestions would be great. Time to get used to being the wailing passenger for a bit.......
Hi, Best is to set front suspension low (low spring pre load en open damping), so you can move the suspension.
When the car is ready spring preload is used to level the car. On this forum there are links about settings etc.
My front shock settings: Spring is set so the car is levelled with a 90kg driver. (driver side 75% preload, passenger side 50%) Damping is set half way. (if I remember correctly: 7 clicks range, so set at click #4)

my best receipt is to buy Hyperpro springs and let them preset for you. There is full warranty on these springs, including adjusting the shocks, fine tuning, testdrives and changing springs if needed AFTER MVSA . To me this is best route little money can buy!
