Hi there, am l right that the R1 that the engine comes out of is the registration you will be passing on to your Tr1ke project? Or am l wrong as in most cases!!!

If I'm not mistaken with the tR1ke they have all been registered with a new plate as the majority of the build is with new parts (i.e if you were to test your tR1ke now it would be a 13plate). I'm not sure of the exact requirements though but you should be able to find out on the DVLA website.

Chassis wheels suspension need to be new and engine "reconditioned" to register as new. Which means when you buy the kit all you need is a receipt for reconditioning and fitting new gear set

You are allowed a major part like the engine gearbox to be classed as reconditioned, then everything else has to be new or appear new, to qualify for a new plate.
