So I have been considering replacing the rear original shocker from my 1999 4XV R1 with a ProTech like on the front?
Because I need much more adjustment than the 7 or 9 variations on the R1 shocker. Both Kevin and Paul had the later 5JJ shocker fitted and said it was better, but I think a fully adjustable shocker is maybe a better way to go.
What do you think?
Have seen a selection of after market R1 shockers all in the region of £370
I know I can pickup a Protech or Gaz shocker at a KitCar event for maybe £90 -£120, cheaper if second hand. I know companies like these can make them to order any length.
