Iv'e had a anoying squeak from around the auxilary belt area on my 1.8 zetec and after removing the idle rollers the bearings are worn and noisy and being a tight yorkshireman i'm not prepared to pay ford £100 + to replace them, wondered if it's possible to replace just the bearing and as anybody tried it?

You can get the idle wheels from Burton power and on Ebay. Defo cheaper than £100. I bought one from Burton the other from Ebay total cost was about £50. You might get them cheaper now.

Thanks For that, when i say £100 i'm meaning replacing all 3 inc adjuster one, it just seems a shame to have to replace it just because of the bearing . Can't do with the throw away society
