Hi,
Have read a lot threads about the Tr1ke but there are a couple of questions.
Which hubs to use in the front? Frontbrakes, is it possible to get any cheaper brakes than Hi-spec, wilwood etc? For example focusbrakes?
Pedals, are they included in the kit?

Hi Rena the tR1ke uses the same hubs on the front as the rocket, I think they're from the rear of a focus but they come in the kit complete with bearings ready to fit with the kit. As for the front brakes the kit comes with mounts to fit radial calipers from wilwood or hi spec, but you can try what ever you like if your prepared to make new mounts. The foot pedals come in the kit with the tR1ke.

What about gearshifter and linkage, also included or? No not included. There are multiple solutions: - Electronic system with steeringwheel flippers. - Push pull bowden cable. Normally used for boat engine throttle cable. - I used a ford focus gear cable as basis. Together with other parts of the donorbike. All is depending of what you like and your budget.

Also mentioned to other builders: Building a tR1ke is not like assembling an IKEA bookshelf.
(and that is exactly the fun of it)

I know, and as you said, it´s part of the fun. I hope I will buy a kit next autumn. If you have any advice or other important to know, please let me know Is it possible for you to send me the assembly manual? It would be nice.

Hi Rena There is no build manual yet but it is in progress, a professional car technician is building a kit and is taking pics and giving instructions step by step. So by next autumn there will be easy guide for you.
If you need tips or more info use the tR1ke part of the forum.
Cheers Kevin
