I heard a rumor a while back that there may be an MR2 version of the rocket in the works. Is there any update? My brother has a couple of MR2s sitting around and after a few hours riding in the Exocet yesterday, he expressed interest in learning more.

Rogue Motorsport has had a very successful campaign this year in their MR2-powered Rocket, winning the 750 Motor Club Sports Specials Class. I have not heard when it will be available as a kit offering yet, but I'm sure it is in the works.

Logical choice for a power plant really, it's possible as Rogue have demonstrated, maybe tight for the mr2 turbo lump given the exhaust manifold. With an over the gearbox turbo conversion, it could be a monster!

Our race cars are already MK3, MR2 based and we are now taking orders for MK3 MR2 powered road going Rockets. We have 12 to 14 week lead time so kits ordered now will be ready for collection at the end of March. Similarly powered Sonic 7's will follow later next year. RTR

Cool! Any plans on an MK2 version or any idea how different they are? I'm sure my brother know their differences, but I am clueless.

Mk2 MR2?
Itd be doable with similar space but a lot heavier with the e153 gearbox.
