I have just started stripping my rear sub frame down, unfortunately in the process several of the bolts will require replacing and some of the bolts which are a welded part of the frame have required cutting. Does anyone have any supplier recommendations for new bits/ Also any idea what grade of bolts I will need for the captive ones which I will have to drill out? Many thanks.

Just be careful with the thread pitch. I was caught out a few times with thinking a bolt was suitable but after using a thread gauge realised there a lot of fine threads used on the mx5.

If its the long bolts that connect the rear lower wishbone to the hub, it's needs replacing with the same bolt. They are high tolerance fit and designed to take impact in a side collusion, rather than snapping and giving way...
There about £11 plus vat new each, and bolts about £5 plus vat.... Pricey but I wouldn't risk just putting anything in its place
