Here's a custom gearbox oil filler I've crafted out of a milk bottle. It works an absolute treat, although you have to slow down towards the end of the second litre. V.2 has lost the lip on the left as it serves no purpose and gets in the way.

A wee hand pump is alot easier but very innovative
ps if you have done that from a milk 'bottle' then u r a genius.

alot of gear oil comes in plastic bottles with a nipple to put a hose on and squeze in.. if you didn't fill till after frame on put hose down through the tunnel hole for the shifter to side of trans.. don't forget to fill the turret also with oil..

I went for Red Line MT-90 which everyone on MX-5 forums raves about. But no nipples! Good reminder on the turret.
