Hello all. Can anyone help me please. I didn't strip the original MX and I'm a bit stuck. There is a single, fairly heavy duty (2mm ish) single blue wire that comes from fuse box. On the other end it has a white plug/spade. The previous owner did not label it and I can't find a home for it - any thoughts?
Your suggestions would be very welcome.

IIRC blue is the air bag wire? white is a power wire from my year on all the MAIn power wires. Thanks for your thoughts... Hmm... although it was a Jap import, the original car was too early for airbags. This lead is bright sky blue and about 6 feet long. I'm fairly sure it followed the loom from the right side footwell fuse box and probably went round to the left side front loom. Could it have been power for the A/C? I have not yet found it in my Haynes manual

Check the AC portion of your haynes manual
my 1990 had airbags (was a us model though)

Thanks so much for your input. It's a single, heavy wire, in straight mid blue (no stripes or dashes). Looking at the Haynes manual, I'm pretty sure it was for the A/C... and now I don't care so much, because I got the car started for the first time this afternoon. I had loads of electrical oddities going on, but finally I got them all sorted... I think I've got all the circuits, gauges and dash lights I'll need. So I'll remove the blue once I've checked and rechecked. Thank you both for your help
