No problem at all. That's what we run on the MX150R

The biggest problem with 195/45/16 tyres is the lack of road legal track day tyres. The previously mentioned 195/50/15 size is much more readily available. IMO the 16" wheel and tyre combination look better though so I guess it really depends on what you intend to use your Exocet for.

I agree with you. 195/50 is a much better size, or even 55 in some cases as the tire selection is better. however, if you go 205/40 on the 16s, you will open a large selection as well (if they do in fact fit with fenders)

I use the bevel shaped fenders on my rocket the same as the ones for the exocet. I have 205/45/17 alloys and they fit fine, still plenty of room, I intend to use the car for occasional track use, but there appears to be plenty of track tires at this Size but they are not cheap so one set should last me a while.

yeah. that size is super common.
225/50/15 is my size of choice. Hoosier makes the R6 slick for a decent price vs performance, so its my choice

I don't think the 225 will fit under the bevel wing it may fit under the aero type wings thou.

I'm sure it could easily be widened. Just cut the wing down the middle and Insert a piece wide enough for which ever size wheel you want.
With them being fibre glass they are easily repaired.
