Hi All,
Can anyone tell me how much fuel you can get in the tank with the filler in the standard MEV position. Because I've read you can't fill the tank. And roughly what range does this give.
Cheers
Colin

It's relatively straightforward to mount the filler on the top plane of the tank cover using a highly flexible filler pipe from CBS (about £15). This way the tank will fill to the top.

Will have to look into this. I thought it was a bit difficult to actually get the pipework to fit properly. Will have a look at peoples builds on the forum for more info.
Thanks
Colin

I bent the rear left corner of the lip of the petrol tank up to allow me to get my arm up between the chassis and the tank. This way I was able to get to the jubilee clip on the filler neck. It is a bit tight, but there are no kinks and the angles on the flexi pipe are not too acute to inhibit filling speed. I have also left the breather pipe connected which helps with filling, but getting the position of the breather pipe right took a bit of experimentation.
