Look good - are they going to be a cost option?
Also, how will they be secured and are they meant to just keep the worst of the weather out (ie not sealed in any way to the chassis)?

They could be offered if I have enough Carbon sheet left over, but very easy to make using a cardboard cut out, these would look great in a colour matching acrylic Perspex sheet,
I wouldnt seal it up, best to use to to deflect splashes and at it will just drain through the floor,
Our are fitted with that famous black stick stuff!! But those plastic black push in screw clip things would be better (don't know what they are called)

Hi Scott
Love the interior effect that it gives. Will do mine slightly different, I plan to set individual pieces inbetween the tubes of the exo so that you can see the frame both inside and out. They will also be the same colour as the grp panels. I understand what you said at Newark about keeping it true to the exo theme but it does make it so much more practical. Have you had chance to look any further into the ride height thing that I pm you about? That is now my only concern left.
David.

There will be a lot of dirt later in between the lowest tube and the sheet. Hard to clean up. Looks great! texalium finish (glass cloth with aluminium damped on it) would be cool as well.

Dirt is no problem, just pop them out and wipe clean!!
In-set panels will look even better, especially colour coded,

I love this trike
Theres a local Plastic shop near me that makes tinted perspex which would protect from spray and splashes but still give the vision through the tubes.
Think that would look pretty good too

Scott What material is this and where do you get it? Is it real carbon fiber? What thickness and what size sheet does it come in? I would like a pair as shown in the last pictures to finish my trike. That would give me all the protection I need in the minimum size.

Hi Ed,
This is real Carbon Fibre I got my hands on a couple of sheets, which is 1mm thick so can cut with scissors, so we made the full length side panels,, the Dad made these smaller front pieces from the remains mounted on 2mm alloy plate, I think they have worked well and just keep the front end protected better, it was just something he was playing with as a trial,
The carbon would be very expensive, Erik''s is thinking what we suggest to most, buy some cheaper polycarbonate coloured sheets to match with the colour scheme and make them removable, it get very hot in the summer months!!!

Hi all,
Can somebody measure the dimensions for the sheet I am in need for like the 1st post (full side). I have a few days off from work next week and want to pick up some sheet.
Thank you in advance, Erik

I like the side panel idea. I may include something like this in my build. Removable. Even if its for long trips only. The constant prolonged buffeting even on a nice day can still be tiring.
