Just wondering if anyone has come up with a good way of either hiding the steering column / shaft or improving the look in some way , I know the interior is 'minimal' which I'm more than happy with as it fits with the look of the rest of the car but i think cleaning up the look of the column in some way would make an improvement.
Any thoughts / ideas ?

I've been wondering about this too. The minimalist effect only really works if there is no clutter in sight and I've got mixed feelings about all the various bits of steel around the column and the top of the pedals.
All this is very obvious from the passenger side, especially from the passenger seat, so I've been toying with thoughts of using the black GRP rear suspension/exhaust cover moulding (as supplied with the kit) as a shallow tray to cover the wiring and the view of the central part of the column. It only needs to be a couple of inches deep to be very useful to cover/mount the wires and shield the column from view. It would be easy to use a strip of side panel off-cut to shield part of the outer side... or just paint it all and make it look deliberate.

OK, so that idea doesn't really cover the column at all! But, it may still be a clean way to 'shelf' the wiring loom.
