I am a little confused because I see that the windshield is not in the basic kit. How do you get the shield, lights? Also, do they offer a complete wiring harness?
Thanks!

haha
i know that as of NOW they dont offer a harness (something we talked about) windscreen is extra lights are included in the front as far as i can remember
you can reuse your stock harness or you could just get an EZwiring.com harness for a hotrod or build your own like i did

I stripped down the old loom and reused it, there are some really good wiring diagrams available on the web to help you. Remember there are lots of very specific plugs on the mx5 that you would have to tie into a non mx5 loom. The jap colour coding is really easy to follow.

Ok, I was just trying to simplify things but i will just use the stock loom. Anyone ever used the heater core and installed it? Just curious.

Thanks again! i dont even have bodywork on my car. so cant help ya there you use the wiring harness ot run a chassis harness, then run power into your engine harness. cuts down on all the AC wiring, any excess stereo, antenna, and other stuff you dont need. saves abotu 5 or 6 lbs just on chassis wiring

not much more if you do just a standalone chassis harness to get rid of hte stalks and stuff.
your ECU only needs power input and sensor wires honestly
