Fitted the bushes in accordance with details in the kit, put them in freezer overnight then just popped them in, and pushed in aluminium inner with vice, very easy.... no problems here, however with the inner and outer bushes for the rear lower wishbones I have a problem as follows: As you can see its as though the bushes are slightly too long, there is no gap in the middle, but the outer lip is not sitting flush with the outer edge of the wishbone ..... Has anyone else encountered this and how have you rectified if you have?....many thanks

I had the same problem and many others have also. I trimmed aprox 2-3mm from each bush and refitted. They then sat perfectly. Job done.....

I used a bench grinder but either way should give you the same result.

It seems increasingly the case to me that it's false economy going for cheap cheap bits. I had to grind down my replacement lower balljoints and buy new castellated nuts as the ones provided finished below the split pins. And today I attempted to fit my lovely shiny new stainless downpipe... and it's too short for the head. Seeing as I have a 1.6 engine it simply means it's been badly manufactured.

Ok well I spoke to seller.....they asked me to check if the letter on the outer lip corresponded to the plans...they did....simply apologised and said that they must not have been trimmed correctly and said they would send out a further set of rear bushes that would be shorter and should therefore be fine....can't argue with that, they couldn't do much more to sort out a problem.....so fair play to them, plus from what I have read on other forums there appears to be as many good reports as bad....time will tell !
