Hello all,
Can anyone advise if there is an IVA spec for the spacing between fuel and brake pipe clips? I've been looking, but I have not found any recommendations.
I bought my car as a part built project and the previous owner has used the MX5 clips in the tunnel, but there are quite big gaps between each - I think there were more on the original car.
Any advice welcome.
Thanks Alister

The iva requires 300mm spacings, ive done 150mm incase they find one to unsatisfactory.

From what i've read, there are no requirements for spacing it just states:
A brake pipe or hose must be adequately clipped or otherwise supported.
i do however believe that wiring needs to be a minimum of 300mm, as said about if you do it more then they cant complain, i plan on fixing all mine at 20mm brake, fuel and wiring.

Actually it's not specified. The official quote is "A brake pipe must be adequately clipped or otherwise supported." The generally accepted approach however is to go for 200mm centres.

Excellent - thanks all. Now for another few hours of pottering and re-doing what others did their way!
