Upper balljoints can be replaced, they just press in. Not sure where you can get them but I know it's possible.
I paid £260 for blasting and powder coating of subframes, wishbones, droplinks and arbs. I gave them copious notes of all the bits to mask off which added a little to the labour cost.

update: so with the body gone, was time to tackle the rest of the parts to strip down and get sorted out! as you can see, started off by stripping the front subframe and suspension and moved onto the rear: engine up, subframe down! just a mess all over tackling the rear subframe was a nightmare!! wish i has started stripping it whilst it was on the car for ease, but that wouldnt have ended up well.. Started burning out all the bushes with my blow torch.... but then my neighbour came round and said that id be there all day.... he brought his van round and had an oxycetalene torch in the back and blew them all out in seconds as i run around collecting the metal sleeves and throwing them in puddles to cool down! Mincy blow torch... isnt the way forward this day in age! and as some of you may have seen earlier, Stuart posted up a youtube video of a fail body removal.... that was me!!! heres the vid for those that missed.... how awkward......... was funny though! on a positive note, went to MEV yesterday and put a deposit down for my full race kit and trailer! All the suspension parts with be with the powder coaters in the morning for a jazzy colour! ordered all new brake discs and pads, ball joints, track rods and ends, full polybush kit for suspension and hopefully get some suspension bought next week! seems to be all going to well for me at the minute...... Cheers, Jords
