Opinions please folks. Trying to decide between a 350mm or a 255mm steering wheel for my Exocet.
Have seen a few pics of Rockets on here with the small size, but not sure if it would be too small for an Exocet...
Help me decide :-)

Im not building the same car as yourself so hard for me to say what will fit best but i have bought a sparco sport 310mm for the rocket, i dont get my kit until june so dont even know what it'll fit like in that but the wheel looks a perfect size really. Hope this helps towards your decision.

Thanks guys. Have my eye on a 320mm wheel. I think the 255mm size is too small really.

I bought the sparco sport 310mm wheel for my Rocket. It's actually 310 by about 280 as it is flat bottomed which does actually help getting in and out of the car. I have quite large hands so anything smaller may have caused some problems.
It's a relatively cheap wheel and is fitted with 4 button/switches that can be used for the horn or what ever you want.

Ah yes the Sparco 310 is on my list of potentials!
I think that the 310-320mm size is definitely going to give a bit more leverage for parking etc. The smaller wheels are probably fine if you are only ever going to be on track.
Thanks.

Because I ordered 17"wheels I do not want to use a short rack and small steering wheel. That would require a lot of force to change direction to overcome the centrigugal forces of the heavier 17"wheel. Because off this I have a 350mm steering wheel. i am not race track orientated and I want more comfort at the road.
If you are leaning towards 15"wheels I recon smaller steering wheels is a good choice.
regards, Erik
