Does anyone know off the top of their head what length the brake and fuel pipes need to be from the engine to the rear of the car? I'm looking at fitting braided ones instead of the copper and want to tell the supplier so they can have them made up before I get to that stage.

Ok, I'm getting a bit confused now... I've been outside to measure them, and there's 1 front>back 5mm pipe for the brake pipe, going to the distribution block, and there's 1 6mm fuel pipe and 2x8mm ones. From memory the 2x8mm ones go from the tank to the injectors, but what does the 6mm one do?!

Isn't that the one that goes from the charcoal canister to the top of the fuel tank? You can remove and blank off the charcoal canister so won't need to re-instate it.

That's what I was trying to remember. So there was a seperate pipe running from the tank to the charcoal canister... madness That's fine, one less pipe to get made. What's the thoughts on replacing them with braided throughout then?

I just used copper pipe from B&Q, but it was a bit of a 'mare to get it through without kinking. Guess braided would look nicer and be easier to use, just need to ensure that it is either stamped as being suitable for fuel or that you get a document from the supplier to show that it is suitable.

When I looked over the MX150R at the Autosport show I noticed the pipes were internal rather than under the car, and by all accounts it the preffered way to do it if your racing. Less chance of them getting damaged in a bump, and more easily inspected. So if they're braided, and I can strike a deal with the supplier I think it'll look pretty good They can supply the correct fuel hose from speaking to them too.
