can someone tell me if i need a interior mirror for my exocet as getting close to finishing also due to illness i have had to stop driving hope to get licence back later in the year. any ideas how i can register car before i get licence back.Pete.

Hi Pete, yes you do need the interior mirror, the mx5 one mounted upside down works, can't see anything out of it but it is fitted. You can still register your car as the licence is only to drive it,car collecters own many cars but don't even drive. Hope your back on the road soon. Stevieboy

Yes, you need an interior/rear view mirror.
As for the registration of the car, im pretty sure you dont need a licence to buy/register (or insure a car) a car, a licence is just to drive the thing.
Feel free to correct any of my information if its wrong guys.

I couldn't get the mirror off of my donor, so ended up getting a slightly different one from an mx5 at the scrap yard.
If you make a small wedge-shaped block about 3/4-1" tall to mount the mirror on to, then it angles it up quite nicely and lets you see behind you.

just looked on vosa web site says i have to show insurance to tester on arivall perhaps thats only if i drive there.

Drove mine to the VOSA station and didn't get asked to produce the insurance certificate, perhaps I have an honest face...
