Adam, the major reason people go for Flo-flex is the outright cost of the Powerflex kits. I'm a Powerflex dealer, so can get them cheaper than RRP, but it's still a massive amount to pay for some lumps of polyurethane. I'm currently sorting out a much better price for the EnergySuspension kits, you can see the details in the thread here: www.mevowners.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=exocet&action=display&thread=1805&page=2They're coming in a bit more than the FloFlex kits, but a lot less than the Powerflex kits, and having researched these kits, there's a lot of positive things said about them. Even getting them shipped from the US, they're cheaper than Powerflex!

Thanks for that. Just done a bit of reading up on Energy Suspension bushes, and from a very quick Google they look like a marked improvement. I liked this quote:
"We have ran flo-flex bushes on both of our race cars, however we could not stop them grabbing the wishbones (ie, they gripped like a bonded rubber bush) this isn't good and no amount of grease on the crush tube could stop it. We modified the bushes and tubes and it was a little better, but still not right.
We swapped to Energy bushes (949racing supplied) in the MA5DA car mid season and the difference is amazing. Now when we undo the ball joint on the bottom arm it flops down with no resistance as it should do and as the flo-flex bushes should, but don't. We will be junking the flo-flex in our NSSCC racecar for next season and again we'll either be fitting Energy bushes or I.L's uprated rubber bushes, haven't deciced which yet.
You don't have to listen to my opinion or the opinions of the other respected members who are warning against the flow flex bushes, but don't come crying when you realise they're no good. "
So I'm number 4 on the ES list.

For what its worth, Ive got the std bushes that come with the kit and they squeak like a herd of mice - I'm hoping they'll bed in, if not I'll be replacing them with some flo-flex.
