After seeing the lightweight at exeter im intrested in building one next year. As im awear the lightweight is designed for track only but can it be used for road aswel.
I perfer the looks of the lightweight over the standard exocet but i would want to use on the road aswel. Ive read you can put the body of the lightweight on the normal exocet.
So what would be the cost of a standard exocet with the lightweight body with the wings etc so it looks like a lightweight and what other option are avaliable for it and at what cost.
Regards to the donor whats best to get a mk1 or 2 and whats the best condition to get, one thats been on the road and has some extras on it so the parts can be sold to make money on, or a crash damage or a tatty one.
Another question regarding the engine whats best to get 1.6 or 1.8 on what upgrades can you do to get more power from it and at what cost.
Will have more questiones down the line but at the moment im just intrested getting a rough figure on the cost of the build.
Thanks chris.

Maybe best to contact us direct on 01623 655522 or info@mevltd.co.uk The body options apply to all Exocets. MK2 1.8 engines have 10 bhp more power. No MOT with miles below 100k ish is genrally good. Tons of up grades available but it is best to complete it first. Most people seem to be spending around 2.5-5k Regards Stuart
