10 th June 2011 ... This is my first day on the Exocet project . After having fetched my donor car last weekend (mx5 BBR turbo) I've been keen to get this project underway . The mazda after 7 hours is now stripped and the body has been removed . Hopefully tomorrow (work permitting) the running gear will be dismantled ready for sand blasting and powder coating ... I will keep posting pictures of the project underway ... Yeah they put out around 150 bhp mark as standard , I had donor car on rolling road on Monday it was putting out 147 bhp at wheels equates to 170 bhp at flywheel , which is what previous owner had it upgraded too so I was more than happy with result .

I would suggest that with that much power to weight ratio, you would be well advised to put air bags in your headrest to try to combat de-capitation on acceleration. ;D
